The producers for UR #3 pre-taped sports in the Murphy studio to get one segment out of the way. They decided to use the Murphy studio because it was pretty convenient and could be done during class. They did a mock toss to sports and were able to run it all together, like a live toss. The main focus this time was Gopher sports because the hockey team was doing really well.
